I wanted to check in and see if you may know someone within your own
personal network who is looking to for a new opportunity. I am looking for a
data or research scientist with a good foundation in data mining and who
wants to be part of a very profitable and growing start-up opportunity in
the financial district of SF (150+employees). Min$140K.
This person should know how to extract and manipulate data from disparate
large databases (MySQL and NoSQL databases). A strong understanding of
clustering and predictive modeling techniques. The ideal candidate has
capabilities in automation, behavioral analysis, adaptive modeling and self-
learning algorithms. MS/or PhD required. Big Plus: Hadoop/Mapreduce, Java,
Weka/Mahout.
Bigger Plus? online fraud or cybercrime tools exp.
