这个版上面SW engineer的占绝大多数吧。我来发一个非SW的面经...
我是统计背景，可能出于这个原因第一轮面试问的全是统计相关的问题，没有任何
coding或者product analysis。
约的是昨天早上10点，大概10点05分打来的。电话那边的人刚一开口，心里就暗叫不妙
，又是烙印。。。
不过也不奇怪，google烙印比例那么高, youtube尤其。 废话少说，一共面了5道题目：
1. flipping 10 coins (assuming they are identical), observed 6 heads. Are
these coins fair or not?
2. What is type 1 error, what is power, what is the relation between them?
3. [survival] how would you model the number of years some patients would
survive after a
primary surgery, given their family history, demographic covariates (age etc
). How to do
diagnostics?
4. Given a sample of size n, how do you obtain the 95% confidence interval
for the median？
Two cases: 1) n is big, say n>100 2) n is small, e.g., less than 10.
总体来讲题目还是挺简单的，我觉得答得也还OK。事
后跟同学讨论了下，感觉除了median small sample size scenario答得不够理想，其他
的应该还可以。不过今天HR打来电话说暂时没有合适的职位对应, 不知道这是不是挂掉
了的意思，悲剧。
统计背景的筒子们如果要面google的data scientist
或者quantitative analyst, 最好好好复习一下mathematical statistics,以及任何修
过的stat主干课。
希望对打算面这个职位的同胞们有点用, 以上
