Xtreme Consulting Group is seeking a Data Analyst.
Job Description:
The consultant will support the provide support for SMSG Corp Finance
covering the following primary responsibilities:
SMSG Efficiency:
· Business insight reporting and analysis related to SMSG Efficiency
Dashboard. Dashboard contains data from several different internal data
sources including: MS People, Mercury, GPG Category book, Trip Tracker, Auto
Desk Reporting, and the Rate card capture program.
· Ongoing management of the External Resource Hygiene Report
· Management and Engagement with the Tier 2 Dashboard Orgs
· Management and engagement with the Field Dashboard Segments
· Relationship management of external reporting groups (GPG US
Reporting Desk, GPG Rate Card Capture Group, GPG Auto Reporting team, GPG
Travel Reporting Team)
· Assistance with ongoing analysis of External Resources staffing
models and global projects related to staffing and managing External
Resources.
· PM role support in relationship to landing the implementation of
several key External Resource related projects.
· Analysis support of the FY15 Efficiency Dashboard planning process
SMSG Marketing Finance:
· Monthly reporting and support of:
o Prepare Marketing Close slide on monthly basis
o Build or make updates to Marketing reports as needed
o Reconcile Marketing reports data to other SMSG Core Reports. Be able to
identify variances.
o Assist with analysis and reporting for FY15 Marketing Planning
· As required adhoc request including:
o Refresh Marketing reports on monthly or on adhoc basis as required by
the business
o Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by the business
Requirements:
· Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, getpivotdata, PowerPivot, Power
View, etc.)
· Finance or Accounting background strongly preferred
· Strong analytical skills and financial modeling skills
· Ability to assimilate data into insights and bring data to life
via compelling presentation
· Strong PM, presentation and communication skills
· Prior experience with Microsoft financial tools (Mercury, MS Sales
, GPG tools)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Self-starter that can effectively juggle multiple projects and
priorities
· Works fast with high attention to detail; delivers accurate
results within stringent deadlines
· Maturity with regards to communications, stakeholder management
and presence and dual reporting structure.
· Available for occasional overtime during peak periods
