Job Description for #1.
Primary Responsibilities:
A major futures brokerage firm is seeking an innovative and passionate
developer to design, modify, support and implement our business software
applications and systems, including customer portal, middle office, risk and
trading systems.
* Work with business users, business analyst to fully understand business
requirement
* Having a deep understanding of different technologies and can use that to
provide elegant and efficient design.
* Have the ability to programming in a fast paced environment and deliver
high quality software systems and business solutions on a timely fashion.
* Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software
defects
Skill Requirements:
* BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Math or
a similar discipline.
* Perform tasks using Object Oriented Design principal, tools and languages.
* High skilled with two or more of the following programming languages: C#,
VB.Net, Java, C/C++, JavaScript.
* Understanding database systems and basic SQL programming a plus.
* Understanding network, parallel/distributed, multi-threaded programming
* Success working in a team environment is critical.
* Demonstrate ability to exercise independent judgment and the ability to
take initiative and creatively solve complex problems.
* Confident self-starter that is able to take a project through the
development life cycle to completion.
* Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
