最近交的一个NIGMS的proposal，由于是做基本structural biology and simulation试
验方法的，在cover letter里建议送给MSFB. 上星期收到eracommon通知，说被
reassign to ZRG1 CB-W。查了一下，发现是毫不相关的ZRG1 CB-W 55 (Jan 2016)
PAR-13-231: Phenotyping Embryonic Lethal Knockout Mice。写email给SRO，还没
有收到回信
请问这里有经验的法考题，你们是如何处理这种情况的。谢谢。

又失眠了。傍晚打电话给headhunter问两周前onsite（第五轮）结果，答复是："you
are the second on the list. The first is scheduled for final interview next
Monday and should be able to get the offer. The good thing is, they were
really impressed with you, and there will be another opening coming out
within 3-4 weeks you might be interested."这个Hunter以前在这家公司做Director
,认识所有面试官，了解内情，他有3个candidates，加上公司自己找的3个，有6个人参
加第5轮（前面4轮电面）。
俺又没戏了。这已经是第3家店俺narrowly missed。苦闷，郁闷，死闷！
在家fulltime找工作已经7个多月了，基本每个月都有一个onsite，就是没有offer!笨
笨笨！没身份俺也认了，以前不到onsite死活不说没绿卡，上个月半周年之际开始，电
面就声明没绿卡，不想再折腾了。
绝望！失望！自己真是没用！

Relax, don't be too eager to get an offer.
I know a few persons, who got very good offers after more than 1 year.
At the same time,
1) find and correct your weaknesses, if any
2) keep improving yourself by studying more
BTW, what kind of company will do 5 rounds of interviews? Forget it.

you can make a request to change the study section, but NIH has the final
say.

不要放弃阿，不是说还有个职位吗，我7月底面的公司，之前一直没消息，周二打来电
话说有另一个职位，约了下周一面试，很意外的，希望能顺利拿offer :) 加油~

别泄气，能拿到这么多onsite，说明你很有实力的。继续加油吧。我都找了八个月了。
说实话，感觉现在没有身份，没有经验的找工作，比找对象难多了。

那个opening马上就有了，他们会考虑你的。这个话不是敷衍你。
其实说不定那个职位更好，更适合你。
人的际遇的事情说不好:)

加油~！首先不要对自己失去信心。我和你一样的情况，full time找工作压力很大，尤
其是要请假去on site的时候，心理身理压力都大。
其次，要相信好的总在最后。

一般onsite会找10人左右来面试吧，lz每个就有0.1的概率成功，以此类推，大概10个
面才有一个offer
你离10个还远着呢。既然能拿到面，证明背景还不错。不要哭天喊地，悲天悯人，省下
精力改进面试技巧是王道

所以占地利是很重要的。10个final round onsite基本搞定一个offer，很多人都说有
这样的规律的。

不用太着急啊，工作这个事情很多时候也是有运气成分在的。。。
一方面呢你可以继续加强你自身的技能，另一方面也放平心态，运气最终一定会有的，

lz要坚持，我今年都已经十个onsite了，周五刚刚再次铩羽而归。。。
这个版上估计没几个比我惨的了。。。
