现在用OPT工作，OPT9月初到期，是不是必须在OPT过期前拿到H1B approved的通知才能
继续工作啊？还是只要在OPT过期前跟移民局file了H1B就行啊？LCA才开始file到劳工
部，照目前的申请进度觉得很难在OPT过期前approve啊，是不是有必要让公司申请加急
啊。

if filed before OPT expires, you can keep working until 9/30.

be approved between OPT end date and 10/1?

只要在你OPT合法的时候file了10月1日的h1b，如果opt过期了你的f1身份自动延长到9
月30日.甚至不需要h1b在opt过期时候必须approve.看下面这个link, Q3详细解释了你
的疑问。（必须是post graduate OPT)

if so, can you provide the link please?
from the link in the previous post, I only see that during the Cap-Gap,
F-1 status is extended. nothing about the extension of work-arthurization
