I140 Approval without RFE: 4/12/2011
I485 Approval: 5/4/2011
Card Received: 5/9/2011
My key learning is that if you can meet the minimum requirements, you really
should try it!
(Please refer to http://www.greencardapply.com for basics.)
EB1B決策攻略
Step 1: Send detailed self intro with key points per each criterion you'd
like to claim to at least 10 attorneys listed on bbs and wenxuecity.
Step 2: If 9 out of 10 say the case is doable, I would think that your case
is very strong and you may go with those attorneys. Or I would recommend
fsa2000.
Step 3: If only very few think it is doable (like my case), you'd better opt
for DIY in that no one except for you knows yourself so well that it may be
possible to dig out as many evidences as possible to increase your chance (
like my case). Thru DIY, I would still recommend to resort to fsa2000. In
this way, you can focus on dig out as many evidences without worrying about
all the legal stuff. PLUS fsa2000 has lots of exp to help you find more
evidences. However, please keep in mind that you must do your best to dig
out evidences!
To be short, for weak cases, as long as you can meet the minimum
requirements, there are chances that you may get approved. However, self
promotion is very important and you and only yourself is the only one who
can do that. (If you ask my background, I can write in a way that you may
think there is no way for me to get it approved or in a way that you may
think I am super outstanding.)
Again, EB1B is easier than EB1A. As long as you can get support from the
employer, you are half way there!
Thru my exp, fsa2000 is very helpful and at a very reasonable cost. Every
DIYer should talk to him for insights. As for the attorneys, based on my
conversations, I really think Dr. Zac Liu is a good, competent, and honest
attorney!
All the best to all future immigrants! Thx.
