新人。。。
本人最近考虑开Online saving..但发现所有的Online saving都有身份要求，说必须是
US person（citizen or resident alien），但我是nonresident alien，所以想问怎
么破。。。是真的不能开户么？因为同意条款的时候有一个“under penalty of
perjury”。。会不会被山姆叔找麻烦？
本来想在版上找答案。。但是找了半天没找到。。求解答。。谢啦！

if you open online for the online banking, you will be treated as US person
(W-9 taxes), so in your 1040 form, you will need to list the interests as
taxable income. (or IRS will send you letter asking for tax owed and penalty
)

when you open it on line, you agree that you are a US person, and the bank
will send 1099INT to you and to IRS. IRS will check your future 1040 forms
interest sum for this amount.
