各位前辈，有个问题想请教你们，关于换工作negotiate待遇问题的。最近这俩礼拜
前后收到几个 offer，然后一直拖着，到现在都没拿定主意，在两个entry level的
staff civil engineer offer中纠结。
1.纽约附近新泽西 26.92/hour（老板说就是按56,000处以52和40算出来的），两周假
，h1b不包律师费
2.德州60,000/year，第一年无假，有点relocation，h1b费用全包
初算，两个offer要差10000以上，但内心呢还是有点想去纽约那公司上班，所以打算跟
那纽约公司negotiate下工资，查了glassdoor和那个H1B prevailing wage，这级别职
位在德州那边大概平均55,000，纽约那边大概平均63,000。然后我就想到两种提法，1.
就是叫65000(31.25/h)或70,000(33.65/h)然后让他去还，2.保守点叫60000(28.84/h)
，算是问问他们能不能match另一个offer。另担心就是工资低于prevailing wage对于
h1b申请的影响，是不是也写成理由跟他们提一下。。总体感觉有些小渺茫。。。因为
打听下来纽约那公司一直给的也差不多就这价格，hourly rate不好谈感觉。。太高的
话他们加班费付起来太厉害，他们甚至还在offer letter 里提到持续interview中在我
接受前随时revoke那offer神码的。哎。。所以就想在negotiation之前向版的的前辈咨
询下建议。

salary is too low for Staff Engineer.

你贴的这些都是没什么用的coupn，虽然面值大，但原价也贵，除非有deal，否则不会有
人需要的。
你不如直接发贴买奶票，比ebay价格便宜一些就行，应有人会卖

这些coupon没大用。
你要用好点的coupon换估计才行。比如说这些

娶欧美或犹太等西方的，娘家出钱办婚礼。印度的，女方嫁妆不够会被婆家烧死。
实际上，世界绝大多数一夫一妻的文明，结婚都是女方家庭要给男方补偿的。因为一夫
一妻家庭里，男人是顶梁柱，付出的更多。
中国的聘礼是农耕一夫多妻文明时代的遗留文化，实际上结婚相当于买人家女儿给自己
填房，有能力买几个就买几个。

公司哈。。哎。。德州那公司有点太小了的感觉，因为之前也在一个很小的公司。。所
以纠结啊。。

诚意到确实有点差距。。不过那个纽约的说是公司policy啊。。因为很多
international的员工。。德州那家基本美国人

是差挺多的。。按那个city index确实要8W才能match啊。。不过话说那地儿也不是正
纽约哈。。在新泽西农村的实际上。。。离曼哈顿30多mile。。估计和queens差不多生
活费。。谢谢前辈建议！

比如哪个不会在一年内裁人？哪个会更容易掌握关键技术？哪一个在你的行业聚集地
吗？

当年在曼哈顿上班的时候，就天天想，塔玛的时间都去哪儿了？
等车、挤车、坐车。单程一个半小时就没了。
