我这个学期拿了一堂religion studies, 快被搞死了！哪位好心人帮忙看看我的
midterm questions,无限感激！！！
Judaism
1. Jews do not refer to their sacred scripture as the Old Testament. What
do they call it? What are its parts?
2. Be able to identify the following main characters in our assigned
readings from the Torah, and to put these characters in chronological order:
Adam and Eve
Cain, Abel, and Seth
Noah and his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth
Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, and Lot
Isaac, Ishmael, and Rebecca
Jacob and Esau
Joseph
Mose

first one, the old testament is called Tanakh in Judaism. It consists of
three parts, Torah, Nevi'im, and Ketuvim.

second one, Adam and Eve -> their sons Cain, Abel, and Seth -> then Noah and
his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth -> Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, and Lot -> Isaac,
Ishmael, and Rebecca -> Jacob and Esau -> Joseph -> Moses and Aaron.
that's the exactly same order as in the question.
but do you know their stories as the teacher asks?

third one, 3 covenants, I think they are Noahic covenant, Abrahamic Covenant
, and Israel covenant. but not hundred percent sure.

aight, I decided not to answer those sample exam questions for you anymore
since it's not really helping you and your teacher has already pointed out
the key materials you should study well on. but you are just looking for
shortcuts here. if you don't like this course why took it in the first place
and made yourself suffer? those are easy stuffs. go look through your notes
or textbook if possible. it will give your a much more clear idea on the
exams than anyone here.

I took this class because I DON'T have any other options. This is my first
semester in this school. When I registered, there were not many choices left
. Anyway, thx for helping me!

Here're some suggestions to you.
There's teacher's office hour during the week. Read your notes and bring
your questions there. If you're shy, email him.
Discuss and ask questions with your classmates. Since it's your first term
in school, it's a perfect chance to get into the community.
Here would be your last choice to turn to becuz we are not taking the same
course under the same teacher by using the same book. There would be
misleading.
If you want to pass the course, think about it.
