If America defaults all debts, no foreign country will lend to the US, so taxes will have to cover all government spending, which means tax rates spike

"A US default is the United States government actually failing to fulfill a
financial obligation, including repaying a loan or interest on that loan.
The government borrows mostly by selling bonds to individuals and
governments, with a promise to pay back the amount of the bond in a certain
time period and agreeing to pay regular interest on that bond at the same
time. A US default would be disastrous for the world economy."
简言之，就是美国政府无法按期偿还应pay债务。现在还没通过 raise debt ceiling
limit 到4T. 只剩5天了。。。

对其它国家来说，不能收到钱当然会影响经济啊
现在我们付的都是利息，其它国家借钱给我们，如果我们还不出，人家就白白为我们做
贡献了

Not raising deficit ceiling is not exactly the equivalent of defaulting our
debts.
Government finances through foreign debts and taxes. The republicans are
against raising deficient ceiling because they want to cut spending.
Remember, borrowing today only means paying back more later.

i don't understand what republicans think,sometimes I feel that 党派之争多于
对国家利益的贡献.去年奥巴马要提富人的税也被GOP否了。美国借这么多钱这么大的窟
窿是光靠削减财政开支就能解决得了吗，25年还清和30年还清没什么太大差别呀,到头
来还是得提税。
