因为三个月前无照驾驶被抓，几天前收到信要下个月出庭。
有几个问题想向大家请教一下。
1。无照驾驶属于criminal, 跟一般的交通违规civil不一样是吗？
请问，此类的最高刑罚是什么？会留下案底，而影响以后找工作等等吗？
2。我收到的信来自于 office of the city attorney. 在说我被控 driving vehicle
without a license
后，有一句
There may be other charges included in the complaint which are not listed
here.
If you are on probation in any other case, a probation violation also may have
been filed.
是说可能有其他指控吗？我是不是会收到单独的信，关于其他的指控？

你这不属于法律问题，属于英文问题。我不懂法，但还能回答：
1。criminal：刑事 civil：民事。你说能一样吗？
2。是说有可能有别的指控，没一一的列出来（比如他们可能还发现你闯红灯了等等）。
不会再发信，上庭的时候会一一告诉你都哪些指控的。
最后一句是说如果你已经有前科了，在probation中，再犯罪是probation violation，加
罚。－－－这个希望你还不用担心吧，呵呵。

there's no civil charge in a traffic ticket.
all tickets are criminal as they are given by
the police and will be prosecuted by the state
base on state laws. only parking tickets could
be civil (by city).
there are several degrees of those charges, infraction,
misdemeanor and felony.
