I agree with you. Of course a bad AC impairs the car's use. Are you supposed
to
drive on highways with all your windows open? Why is it so hard for them to
figure out?---Maybe they don't really care. Find a free student lawyer who
likes to practice. Warranty should cover the parts, you may find that in the
warranty info packet if you got it when you bought the car.

Information packet? You mean a certified used car?
I do not have it when I got the car. The dealer even did not give me the
warranty. Later some defect was found and I checked the lemon law, and he
had to give me the warranty. But I still do not have any detailed information.
Those words are in the lemon law and the warranty. Nothing else

maybe you can do a little research on the net on lemon law, and then draft a
formal letter to the dealer threatening to sue him and report him to
consumer's rights organizations, set a date for him to reply, mail the letter
with signed receipt, make a copy of the letter and the mailing label, make
sure you put the serial number of the mailing lable on the letter.
then if he doesn't get back to you, take him to small claim court.
