我老公被控 assult & battery. 但假定的受害人是我，算是Domestic Violence的范畴
吧.
细节没意思，这里是专业版，又不是口水版
总之，他真的没干什么。
咱们在人家屋檐下不得不低头，莫名奇妙的就沾上官司了
糊里糊涂地被法院指派了个律师，我们俩是两个法盲，在家手足无措了好几天了
忽然觉得事情很复杂，因为可能还涉及到将来签证啊，办绿卡啊之类的事情
大家随便说点什么吧，帮我们出出主意
我说说我们能想到的担忧
1.怎么找个好律师：
又懂移民法，又能打赢官司的律师当然最理想了，我们希望无罪辩护。但在不影响将来
出入境的大前提下找到平衡点也行。如果谁知道可能的人选，一定要告诉我啊。
2.需不需要找两个律师：
一个帮我们出出移民的主意，一个帮我们出庭，法庭指派的律师能用吗？
我个人也有一个担心，移民律师有上庭为刑事罪辩护的经验吗
3.巨现实的疑惑
我们应该准备多少钱啊，这件事，怎么保证律师会认真办案呢，收钱后
4.我不知道这里潜伏多少高手，但我们真的手足无措了，如果有人，即使不是律师，是
在读的学生也好，肯帮我们诚心诚意出谋划策的，联系我们好吗，我们会表达我们的感

What is your budget? You can go to a Chinese law firm with $ 100 per hour (
even less )service fee. Or a downtown Jewish firm( I like Jewish attorney:))
up to $ 300 per hour ( even more).
It is not neccessary to hire two attorneys to defend such a simple case. If
you need, just call a Chinese immigration law firm for some advises ( $ 50
per hour consulting fee ).
If your attorney lose the case, you can sue him for malpractise. But it is
another story...

忽然很迷糊。。。
Should we hire a defense lawyer familiar with the DV case and consult an
immigration lawyer for certain concerns
or Should we hire an immigration lawyer to defense representing us on this
DV case?
First of all, should we use the lawyer assigned by the court any more?

I'm confused. Domestic violence? You were the vitim? Your husband was the
accused? Are you the prosecution witness against your husband? Now you want
the lawsuit go away? Then tell the prosecutor,"I don't want to charge my
husband." It was a mistake, a misunde4rstanding, bla...bla...Did you tell
them "总之，他真的没干什么。"?

Look, I have never said anything against my husband.
However, somebody found us in fierce quarrel with body touch, and so bad
things just occurred.
And since the police count me as the victim, I think it is a DV case.
Here is the problem, although it is not a big deal, we still feel troubles
dealing with it, since we have no idea of the court system, and we don't
know how to play the game.
