8岁的外甥长湿疹很厉害，医生说什么IGE太高，现在姐姐在网上看到什么奥奇脱敏王之
类的，号称是美国公司（我个人认为是典型的回国圈钱的那种公司，不过我也不懂医药
行业），可以邮寄购买，不知道那东西有没有用？多谢。

刚刚才完成了CPA考试申请的step 5: select sections。看到网站上写着还要得到
payment coupon, make payment, then receive NTS，然后才能预约考试时间。这还能
来得及吗？？想请问朋友们这些得要多长时间呀？很着急呀！

就是纯理工科背景，刚入律所打杂的那种职位，可以直接申请吗？没看懂置顶贴的意思
，有一种是要求绿卡背景的。。。

好象不可以吧.具体是什么条款,我也记不得了.如果你现在开始选择考试的科目,最早也
应该是10月份了吧:)

Yes, you may apply directly for a patent agent position at a law firm with a
science background and a registration number.
To obtain the registration number, you must pass the patent bar.
To pass the patent bar, you must have GC or citizenship or be sponsored by
an employer in the business of patent prosecution.
Therefore, if you don't have sponsorship, you must have GC or citizenship to
take the patent bar in order to become a patent agent.

关键即使拿到了NTS，也未必有考场的位子了啊。我去的那个考场，人那个多啊。

I will get limited registration. If I change employer or go to law school,
will this limited registration expire or remain in effect? If I leave for
China just for vacation, will this affect this limited registration?

只和你的h1 visa status有关系，如果你在A公司拿到ltd rec number，那么当你为A公
司工作的h1 visa停止了，那么你的recognition也就停止了。
1. law school：如果你还是持有h1并继续工作，没关系，如果你转F1签证，那么你就
没有number了。
2. 换工作：假设你又拿到了B公司的h1，B公司也是从事patent工作的，那么你update
一下信息就可以，应该不用重新考试。如果B的工作和patent无关，那也就没number了。
不知道我说清楚没有。

对这个我也有点疑惑。对于resident alien, OED的requirement是能提供合法居留美国
的许可。你说的这些能否这样理解呢？--
(1) 如果持H1签证但工作和专利无关，因为H1签证的专用性，你不能用这个H1来申请
bar;
(2) 如果持H1签证同时工作和专利有关，可以用这个H1来申请bar，但需要单位证明;
(3) 如果持绿卡，原则上可以干任何工作，因此可以直接申请bar;
(4) 如果没拿到绿卡但申请了485并拿到了相应的EAD，原则上可以在相关领域内干任何
工作。patent agent需要专业技能，能被视为相关领域，因此你可以用485相关的EAD来
申请bar考试。
以上第(4)点尤其需要得到确认。谢谢！

Based on my understanding, you cannot claim it with a pending AOS.
If you want to make sure, call the OED office and let us know what you find
out.

打电话问了。那儿的人说，对于485 pending + EAD + 以前曾用H1b工作的情况，至少
曾允许参加bar。不过具体情况得看具体申请人。因此他们要求直接寄所有申请材料和
申请费，另外再加上485, H1B的一些材料，他们再个例考虑。
