Novarials Corporation, a leading nanowire technology developer at Woburn, MA
, has an opening for a materials scientist. It is anticipated that the
scientist has a chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science
background. The scientist with a hands-on working spirit as well as a highly
motivated, creative and productive mind is a perfect candidate. The
position will start as an NSF industry post doctor (>$60K/year, 1-2 years)
with a possibility to change to a permanent position.
You will be entering an absolutely new field of making nanomaterials in
large scale and low cost, will develop next generation inorganic membranes
using these nanostructured materials, and will pursue their wide
applications in numerous fields.
NSF has some special requirements for this position: Applicants must be U.S.
citizens, U.S. nationals or U.S. permanent residents, and must have
received a Ph.D. degree in a NSF-supported science, technology, engineering
or mathematical (STEM) discipline in the three years prior to the
application date. (Anticipated Ph.D. candidates may apply for the fellowship
but may not start the program, if selected, until the degree is received.).
