比韩国日本的都好
像前路路，庄小威
口音，重音，节奏，都很好
我以前新加坡生活读书，也算受过英语的基础教育，说英语也十几年了
其实能说比较复杂的从句，用词也可以
但总不想学美国口音，心里总有抵触，所以发音和intonation上总是和美国人不一样，
美国人一般不觉得我说英语很好
中国的女的，有的只是刚来来读硕士一年，说的英语，虽然都是很简单的句子和词汇，
听上去完全没有口音，所以实际很有用。

买了american accent training
但总感觉美国口音听着特别stupid, arrogant and arrogent
很抵触
以前在新加坡的时候，有些女的说话学美国人，大家都说fake, pretensious，当时都
特不待见美国去的ABC

谁有类似的感受？
怎么能提高英语呢
学着美国人说话总是说不出口C

美国女性，尤其是年轻女性流行的英语显得很low，很不自信。

是指所谓Valleyspeak么？陈述句结尾也爱用升调，但很多年轻女生都习惯那么说

我最喜欢听新加坡英语，和香港英语有一拼，听起来是一种莫名其妙的感受。

Not sure if your are being sarcastic here. but I quite know that 1-st
generation chinese immigrants living in U.S. have a sense of superiority
over Signaporeans and HongKongese, this accent issue involved as well.
But in terms of speaking english, it''s not that 1-st generation mainland
immigrants can pick up american accent and generations of Singporeans can
not.
It's simply that Singaporean are more experienced. chinese people living in
a foreign culture as a marginalized group talking in american accent leads
to a disastrous prospect of identity and confidence failure, inevitably. Lee
Kuan Yew once pointed this out explicitly. In fact, Lee Kuan Yew changed
his name from Harry to his chinese name and changed his view of Chinese and
English thing and so did the vast majority of middle class english oriented
and english educated singaporeans in the last 50 years.
African Americans don't talk in the way white people talk, for the same
reason.
Speaking of english, there's another school of english called proper english
spoken in formal occasions or societal circles. you may not know. It's posh
and more natural to chinese people and chinese ears.
I indeed find myself reluctant to speak in/learn American accent. I'm rather
surprised that Chinese people in U.S. are so ready to imitate the way white
people talk.
