有的话俺就贴出详细的问题了 :D
主要症状就是用nv驱动有宽屏，用nvidia驱动(rpmfusion)死活没有宽屏
平时用nv也将就了，可是现在玩游戏要dri，似乎nv没有支持
有大侠愿意出手没？

手工安装 nvidia 驱动呢？
宽屏又不是新科技，偶 nvidia 的接 hdmi hdtv 都直接识别了

太贵。
receiver不值钱，型号老，档次低，除非便宜，不然不买。
velodyne cht-8 尺寸小，cht－12大概$200，这个差两挡，除非便宜，不然不买。
b&w 600，602，s3不错，当然要看价钱。他开价很高，不知道能砍到多少。

硬件：显卡nvidia GeForce 9500GT, 双hdmi接口
主显示器Xerox XR6-19DW 19寸宽屏

系统：fedora 11 x64
问题：
用nv的驱动(fedora11自带的)，主显示器可以显示1440x900的宽屏，用着没问题。但是
没dri，玩3d游戏如wow剧慢无比。据我调查是nv驱动不提供dri.
用nvidia驱动(rpmfusion里的,guide: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=204752)，主显示器死活不给宽屏，最高分辨了1024x768。就这个破分辨率都有dri支持，可以玩游戏。
怎么能让nvidia驱动有宽屏支持？
/etc/X11/xorg.conf和log:
nv驱动：其实nv驱动不需要/etc/X11/xorg.con，把这个文件删了都没事。
nvdia驱动：就是用了driver nvidia加

不要receiver和低音炮，或者试着卖掉。
如果不愿意折腾的，那么入手的时候谨慎些，说不定买回来一犯懒就常用了。
加一个lcr60中置。
加600，602 s3还是很不错的。价钱合理。
200－300块可以买一个前带高级别的receiver，denon 3805之类的。
低音炮可以先用着，以后升级。

阿，明白了，它没法识别 CRT 是不是连上了，用了 CRT 的分辨率
偶老发过攻略
或者你去看 xorg.conf 手册里关于指定 connector / monitor 的选项

The receiver doesn't support the latest format: Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master
Audio. These last generation receivers are pretty cheap now on ebay.
I think you can find a much better system on ebay with about the same amount
of money.

问个问题，602那对speaker后面有两对接口，一个是LF,一个是HF，应该接哪对呢？

I tried to add this secion in xorg.conf for nv driver,
still not working.

了。

重整了xrog.conf不需要重起电脑吧？
我昨晚在nv和nvidia之间互换的时候都是重起x而已。看了两个的dpi都是75 dots per
inch.
然后今天重起了电脑，发现用2个驱动字都变成nvidia驱动那样小了。难道dpi不是系统
变量而是跟驱动有关？

somehow dpi was messed up even though both of them showed 75.
anyway, after i changed dpi in nvidia driver, everything looks fine.
