Responsibilities:
JD-X is looking for a Program/Project Manager to work closely with our
engineers for the development of automated fulfillment capabilities
including autonomous ground delivery vehicles, autonomous aerial delivery
vehicles (i.e. delivery drones) and automated warehouse technologies. You
will be expected to have excellent business acumen accompanied with strong
technical foundations. In short, in this role, you will have the opportunity
to flex every program/project manager muscle you have and work with a world
-class engineering team.
• Responsible for program/project schedule design, resource
planning and risk control.
• Control projects timelines and interact with diverse technical
groups, spanning all organizational levels to track milestones.
• Deal with stake holders and make sure them actively participate.
• Help JD-X team with testing planning and actual testing.
Technical writing is also a big plus for testing plans, testing procedures,
etc.
• Good problem solving skills - being able to resolve conflicts and
understand how to prioritize resources.
• Manage and improve existing program/project development and
release processes. Collaborate with engineering management on improving the
development workflow and engineering efficiency.
• Generate actionable metrics, reports, and dashboards to highlight
project health and status.
Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering or a related engineering field (MBA is a plus).
• 3-5 years of experience with successful online consumer and/or
enterprise product launches within fast-paced, agile environments (prior
online monetization experience is a plus)
• Experience in AI, Robotics, Real-time Perception System, Computer
Vision, Machine Learning, etc. is a big plus
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with
data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and
meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to interact with team members across all departments
and levels of the organization.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment and comfortable
with ambiguity
• Comfortable presenting to and persuading at the Director and Vice
Presidential level
