try new rear DLP projection TV using new HD2+ chips (such as Mitsubishi 725
and 525 series, samsung 85 series), these have 2500:1 contrast ratios and
amazing picture quality. in my opinion it's approching the plasma TVs.
if you compare plasma TV to the new DLP HD2+ projection:
1) plasma has slightly better picture quality, thinner
2) plasma is more expensive (same screen size)
3) plasma is subject to burn-ins, and gets darker in years
4) no plasma under 50in supports true 720p format, although t
