现在英国体系的大学里面，准备带一个博士生，因为是双导师制，需要找第二个导师。
请教给位senior academics，有何tips能分享？
现在想到的是：expertise互补，native speaker还有personality等等因素。

要搬家了，退房之前要清洁地毯，有两个问题：
一是用什么东西去处地毯上的stain，没有大面积洒过什么，大概就是拖鞋底沾的脏，
有些黑点点，还有经常活动的地方比放家具的地方发黑，有什么清洁用品比较有效么？
还有就是放重家具的地方，挪开之后都有被压过的痕迹，尤其写字台的四个角，压的很
深，这个有办法恢复么？以后再住全地毯的房子该怎么避免呢？

说真的，大部分2导都不管事情的，也就是做一个backup，当你和学生处不来的时候，2
导就出来
两个选择，找个牛掰的prof.，以后好给学生写推荐信
找个junior的，也许能帮你带带学生，一起发文章啥的。

Rent a rug doctor.
Put an ice cube in each indentation, and let cubes slowly melt. Wait 12
hours, blot up wet spots, then use the edge of a spoon (or fork depending on
the type of your carpet) to lift carpet fibers back up.
I don't know think you can avoid this unless you use commercial grade carpet
.

我看找个nice的最重要。有些天性negative看问题的老美，自认为是critical,拖着学
生毕不了业，最恶。

我的经验是找一个senior并且愿意帮助你本人和学生的,而且他不应该和你抢成果.
我知道在英国有的2导就是挂个名基本上除了viva没什么用处.不过我带的几个学生的2
导都很负责.看人了
