LD is in H1B and just got promotion from postdoc to research professor. Does
she need to apply a new H1B? If she does not apply for a new H1, is it
illegal to get promoted? Will USCIS investigate that?

俺有个　realtor.com link　，下午一看，又下去了4，5个房子。
好家伙，除了一些烂的不行，有非常大的硬伤的，　俺关注的3-4个　TOWN　里头比较
正常的房子几乎一扫而空。
接下来会怎样?
地球人都知道5.1以后会进入成交清淡期，买家和卖家都会消失。至于有人预测的房子
大跌我觉得根本不会出现。
至于已经在市面上　list　了几个月，到明天也没卖出的房子，只能证明它们足够烂，
卖家要么撤下等明年要么降价了。
注:　80万以上房子不再讨论之列

HR resource filed H1B amendent to USCIS. I filled out some forms as they
instructed. I forgot what they were.
You may contact your HR.

我觉得60万以上的房子,基本上就没有动过...

Can you tell me what form is? H1B amendment is specifically for this purpose

我们这里没人扫房子。还有无数在市上。
难道你们那里5/1以后卖主都会把房子撤掉？

just read I129 form for H1. Sounds like amendment is the same as applying a
new H1B. It uses the same form. In Part 2.2, there is an item - Amended
petition. Don't know if that is what you have done before?

除了毛病大的，哪还有房子啊　（俺观察的都是　50-80万间的"好区"房子），
一时半会(I think until Spring 2011) 也不会有很多卖家出来卖了。
卖家也不傻，今春想卖的都会赶　5.1　前

不是打击泥，“好区”的房子很“好去”的，就别指望大奖了
