后院紧邻小区的trail。原屋主在backyard boarder靠trail种了一排树，不过也不是很
密的象墙一样，树与树之间间隔比较大的。trail再往外是一小片荒地，荒地往外就是
树林。一直以为trail就是property的边界。这两天仔细看county的record和买房子当
时给一大堆文件中的地图，才发现trail外面那块荒地实际上也是我们家的property。
买的时候卖家还有双方agent都没有提起，估计都和我一样很自然的默认trail就是
boarder。这种情况咋办？

if that is true, didn't that mean that seller sold (and you bought) the
property based on (visually) smaller land although numbers are correct on
seller listing and public records? what effect would that have on sale price
? ie. perhaps you got a good deal because of this.
anyway, you may want to have this fixed so people know it's your property. i
am not sure whether you need to pay for a survey service or not.

感觉是的。listing上数字和county record上的一样，比邻居都要大很多。但是如果以
trail为界的话，没感觉比邻居大多少。可能要花钱找人survey一下了。
