有些在线application，是不是填了之后就只能在固定在那家了？我只是想拿到good
faith estimate来比较rate and cost，然后选最便宜的。顺便问问有人用过

You can have up to 3 lenders pull your credit scores without affecting your
score. Once you have multiple quotes, you can ask the lenders to compete
with each other to give you the best rate/cost. Having a local lender that
you can call is probably helpful in case your loan is complicated.

shop around不需要家家都提供SSN的，大致说一个信用分数，主要是比较同一时间不同
lender能给出的rate，从而选出rate好的lender。再者，就是询问银行收费，包括
appraisal fee之类的。权衡rate和收费，找出一个lender来做就可以了。让太多
lender pull credit没有好处。不提交application是拿不到good faith estimate的，
我不觉得需要拿到GFE才能比较lender。
