我是11月20日自己寄的EB1b (I-140+485)，USPS express寄的，显示22号已经deliver
，但是现在还没有收到receipt, check也没有被deposit，我的朋友和我同时递的，不
过他的律师用的E-file,很快就收到receipt了。不知道版上有经验的朋友，律师申请和
个人申请时间上有差别吗？请问check一般多久会被deposit? 最长多久能收到receipt?
不知这里有没有和我情况类似的朋友？欢迎多交流。

如果05，06，07，08年买房的人知道价格会跌还会买房吗?尤其这个年段买房的人出来
说说。

E-file might be a little bit faster since application information needs not
to be typed in by an officer. Best luck!

买房一方面是为了享受生活，另一方面也或多或少有希望房子升值的期望。

In my case, yes, I did even when I knew there was a high probability that it
would get worse before it gets better. I just couldn't find a decent house
for rent, and had to buy one :)
That's easy for me to say, as I've already accumulated enough fortune for
the rest of my life. But even for you young guys, this hold true - no matter
how much you saved by postponing the purchase for three years, it's not
enough to buy back those three years

非常同意！尤其是最后那句话：no matter how much you saved by postponing the

我买房子是因为家里刚生了小孩，而且老人经常来帮忙，公寓已经远远不能满足我们的
要求，而且小孩的哭闹也会非常的扰民。我们也不想租房子因为问题多多，我们很多时
候非常的拘束，所以想有个自己的家。加上我们满意的房子的房价是我们可以接收的范
围，所以就买了房子。现在我们有了自己的菜园，自己的葡萄架，小孩也可以把房子跺
得震天响也不用担心，我也可以时不时试试男高音。我们可以推迟，但是，我们买房的
这几年居住舒心给我们带来的欣喜和快乐，远远不是金钱可以买的到的。我认为在房价
虚高的时候充大头买个大草包是非常不好的。但是我也觉得不要一味牺牲了自己和家人
的幸福片面最求最低的房价。

We bought a brand new house at the end of 2008 while knowing for sure the
price would go down. But the problem is, if it would go down for another 3-5
years, when would we buy?
Now I know for sure, my son loves the big new house and playing baseketball/
soccer in the backyard. Our parents love the big new house and planting
vegetables/flowers in the yard. It's a super big life quality jump from
renting apartments for us.
I'd say if you'd like to wait until the market hits bottom, but you also
want to promote life quality, renting a house is a good choice now. Life is
not all about making and saving money.
