Contacted a house representative's office in my district last Thursday and
got a call this afternoon saying a USCIS supervisor took my case and my wife
's case on Dec 11th and would assign them to an officer, and asking me to
wait for decision in 45 days. If no updates in 45 days (starting from today)
, the congressman's office will help me ask status again. Though not a lot
of help, it is better than knowing nothing.
