45min can be done with manual or riding mower;
I have both, electric is light, but deal with cord, so slow;
gas is heavy and fast, your wife'll not be able to handle it

my lawn is about 0.1 acer, divided into 3 patches, it took me less than 20
min to finish.
I don't think it matters. It seems the 36V model is lighter. Lighter is
better.

How often fo you mow? if the grass grew too tall, less power one will have a
hard time to make a good mowing, right?
