大使馆这位领事要处理4-6个月，如果你是这位领事分管的，并且不需要补材料。
如果你需要补材料，或者信封上没有写领事的名字，那末处理的时间还要长得多。
要预留足够长的时间。
去年，一些第五年J visa holders来不及完成豁免，不得不因此离开美国。

看了个房子，房子inspection report seller agent已有。提到fungus 问题。我以前
买这房子时都没看到这问题，请问这重要吗？
1. fungus damage noted to the side garage door.
Recommendation: remove old door and install a new pre-hung door. Existing
hardware will be reinstalled. Gutters and roofing material will be removed
and set to side. It's owner's responsibility to hire a roofer to reinstall
the gutters and roofing material.
estimate price for repair: $711
2. Fungus damage was noted to the plywood under the shower。
Recommendation: remove and replace with new material.
estimate price for repair: $414
3. Fungus Damaged framing was noted under the tub
Recommendation: remove damage and replace with new standard grade of
material. Reinstall existing tub, tub enclosure and toilet. A standard grade
of tile will be installed. Dispose of all debris from job.
estimated price for repair: $4400, permit: 440.
4. roof framing is fungus damaged in the areas indicated.
Recommendation: remove and replace damaged wood with new material.
Estimate price: $1221
不知道这房子真修起来是不是麻烦？fungus问题麻烦吗？怎么那么多fungus 问题。还
有一项，懒得列了。我买现住房都没fungus 问题，在同一学区。在湾区。
总共repairment fee 是$9900. agent说可以选择自己修，降房价1万。我看有个
bathroom 要整个重修。不知是不是个好选择。

解决了有mold的原因，控制好moisture就没什么问题
但这房子好像保养的不好，这么多地方都出现，能跳过还是不要了

多谢。report没写mold. hall way bath room 还是2010年整个remodel的。但地下面木
头烂了。该房出租了一年半。表面看非常好，很新。主要是下面这项维修，一般的装修
工都不知能修吗？因为是tub处地下面木头有烂了。
