今天找议员催绿，结果他们打电话过来说他们只能帮忙inquiry，但是无法expedite.我
是照着精华区的模板写了个一封信。大家看看我写的有啥问题吗？议员就是去inquiry
，那跟自己inquiry有啥区别呢？希望他们能帮帮忙。bless
Subject: Expedite Processing Form I-485 Petition to Adjust Status (Permanent
Residency)
Dear Senator XXX,
I would like to bring it to your attention that our I-485 Petitions to
Adjust Status (to obtain permanent residency in the U.S.) are still pending
at the Texas Service Center of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (
USCIS). Four years has been passed since we started our petitions in 2012.
The current processing date for I-485 at Texas Service Center is 6 months,
so our cases are seriously delayed. We have sent request to USCIS to
expedite the processing of our cases on 03/11/2016 with inquiry(referral)
numbers XXX), but we are still anxiously waiting for the approval of our
petitions.

房子顶层是attic，cover整个顶层(shingle)，所以不知怎么能在inspection时或者之
前能看到attic本身是否有潜在性的问题？
比如，听说有些房顶有leak但是不明显，买后一段时间才知道问题，不知如何提前检测？
新手求教，谢谢

议员就是去inquiry，那跟自己inquiry有啥区别呢？

不是，我的意思不是要如何。
我的意思，我看大家都找议员翠绿，但是为什么议员工作人员过来说他们只能是
inquiry，跟我自己在网上做是一样的，他们做不了别的，我纳闷大家催绿的时候议员
也是如此吗？
那岂不是就多了一个case inquiry?

我记得议员是不能帮你expedite的，只能帮你查询。查也是有用的

议员我中午fax过去，5点刚好收到议员的回信。
Dear Ms. XX:
Thank you for taking the time to write me regarding your I-485, Petitions to
Adjust Status.
I have contacted the USCIS Texas Service Center on your behalf and asked
their office to review and respond to the concerns written in your letter.
You will be updated as soon as new information becomes available to my
office. If you have any questions about the status of your letter please
contact my Staff Assistant, XXX.
Again, thank you for writing. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can
be of assistance in the future.
