In disclosure the seller did not disclose there was a treated 6 feet linear
crack in the finished basement 8 years ago. So after inspection, we made a
deal to close on July 31. Now no more contigent. Yesterday I found it out
and seller told me it is precautious fix before finishing the basement, but
I still think they should disclose it. It affect my confident in the house
and owner.
How should I do? I already passed the inspection period and I put in $4000
earnest money. There is no financial contingent. Should I let it go or
Should I ask for price reduce? It is $400K house and the seller do not worry
selling the house if I am out of contract, and do not return our earnest
money.
