Is it normal? A broker said he doesn't need to check my score to provide a
pre-approval letter. Should I be cautious on this broker? or it is not
something uncommon.

一般客人都知道他们的大致信用分数和有无collection等bad记录，这样我们一般可以
根据客人估计的情况估计rate和monthly payment，算DTI，出pre-approval letter。
正式申请loan时再check信用记录。
如果客人对自己的信用分数和信用记录一无所知，还是建议查一下。

不一定, 一般来说我们agent查的credit score比其它的机构(car dealer)查的要低.
不查credit score的算是pre-qualification, 不算pre-approval. 一般listing agent
收到offer后会打电话给出示pre-approval的loan agent, 询问pre-approval的情况.
如果要抢房子, 最好是拿一个真正的pre-approval.

Our FICO score is the exact same as Karma at all. Normally a little bit
lower.
For 15 year, credit score is nrmally

一般来说，出pre-approval letter都是需要check credit（hard pull）的，不过，并
不是每一个broker在出pre-approval letter的时候都一定要再pull一遍credit。第一
份credit report一般有效期是90天，上面有一个reference号码是通用的，在shop
around的时候，您可以要求第一个broker把credit report发给您，再转给另外一个
broker，这样一来就避免了多次pull credit所带来的对分数的影响。
注：一般段时间之内统一类型的credit pulling不会影响分数，例如到各个车行买车的
时候。
