Today, AILA is having a luncheon meeting in Miami FL with Mr. Charles
Oppenheim Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division at the U.S.
Department of State. Topics to be discussed include:
1. How are priority dates determined?
2. What is going on in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories?
3. What should we expect with the current backlogs?
4. 2012-2013 predictions?
Hope he delivers some positive news for everyone.

好像基本每家都很推engineered wood 地板，也许是价格便宜些，商家的利润高些，但
是打磨的情况呢？我看了一家，觉得上面的实木层太薄了，但是sales说，那至少是可
以磨2次的。
主要担心engineered 以后不太好refinish. 一般大家选什么？

This is the Reply from Evan on his Luncheon with Charles Oppenheim...
Nothing earth shattering. Basically, EB2 and 3 with India – as you probably
know, there is a lot more demand than supply. No big jumps expected at all
now or near future. Where there is less demand in other categories, he will
move numbers as he is permitted and has done in the past to help with the
demand

装个木地板还有考虑以后打磨的事情太累了，就跟买辆新车考虑五年后卖掉所以好好维
护是正常，但要考虑十年后的事情就有点太前瞻了......
一个房子打算住多少年啊

房子这么贵的东西不考虑resale value?你太猛了。

不仅仅是大漠的问题。实木和engineered 踩上去感觉完全不一样。不考虑价钱的话根
本没什么好想
的。

这种东西还有安装费的，当然是宁可价格贵一些也要实木的，

在一楼，可能是水泥的。很是犹豫，实木的的时候好些，但是不知道1楼会不会容易变
形。

We have the same situation, but do not like engineered wood floor. We are
considering heated travertine. It is practical and beautiful. Our neighbor
has that.
