最近新买的1997年的房，最后的final walk through没做好，发现地下室的sewer pump
不工作了。症状是sewer pump的circuit breaker总是跳起来，如果推回去，sewer
pump也没有启动的声音，有humming的那种嗡嗡声，然后2秒钟就跳起来。昨天晚上那个
pit里的水都满出来了，但今天早上我去看只剩一半水了。不知道这是不是哪里漏水？
？做个home owner真不容易啊！有没有版上兄弟姐妹有经历过呢？自己怎么修，如果要
请plumber大概多少钱？多谢！

是sumpump吧，要是sewer pit 满了，那可是大麻烦，你听起来不那么着急，应该不是

是sewer pit,我的房只是地下室的废水走sewer pump，一楼二楼的不走，直接排出去。

pump
sump pump is usually around 100-200. For a plumber to replace it, it cost
the trip fee and no more than 1 hour of labor.
Your symptom feels like a seized pump. The water went down because the
water saturation level in the surrounding soil went down, so it flow out
from the pit.

谢谢。那就是说pit里的水少了是正常现象不需要担心？那样的话还好。我看到pit像是
个塑料的桶，水是怎么出去的？

There is a pipe that's buried in ground around your house and lead to the
sump pit. Water from soil will seep into this pipe and into the pit when
there's much moisture in the soil. The water level in the pit reflects the
water level in the surrounding soil
