will close the refi this Friday.
lender sent me a document saying my loan is for 15 years.
but I am applying for 30 years.
I checked with my agent, he asked me not to worry about it. But when i said
I want to contact the lender to clarify, he discourage me. After couple of
email back and forth, I realize he will not tell me the truth.
what I did is so called no cost refi, and I understand lender will provide
rebate to agent, and agent use part of the rebate to cover the closing cost.
there is some secret under the table which I don't need to know. But this
15 v.s. 30 years seems significant. and I wonder what's the trick here?

建议再好好跟他们沟通一下，一定要确认是30-yr fixed，把30-yr fixed弄成15-yr
fixed这种错误一般不可能犯但是签loan doc之前也要核对清楚

1. 一般来说如果您的loan agent是一个有reputation的人，您不用担心。不管是贷款
还是买房，找对agent最重要。
2. 在申请loan的表上有写program以及rate，
3. lock rate后一定要一个lock confirmation。
4. 最后签doc的时候有一个文件是Note,上面会说是什么program以及rate，如果和您
lock的不一样，您可以不签。

这是大是大非问题。
签loan doc 请仔细查看note, 不对不签。既使签了，也有三天时间去 cancel
