the principle is you can save money on paint but not tools.
pretty much any water based latex paint with primer from big box stores
would do. two coats.
9-inch or 12-inch rollers, those marked "best" in store
3 inch purdy stiff glide brush (for cutting lines)
roller tray
brush bucket
3m painting tape
plastic floor cover sheets
cover well - it's worth the time. tape at the bottom of the wall with
plastic sheets.
cutting straight lines between the ceiling and the wall is the most
difficult skills you'll need to learn.

2000尺肯定要几千了。
我diy的刷一遍primer, 2遍漆。
时间多diy还是好的

买好漆，差不多少钱，放心。刷子么，我用的99C店的，刷门没问题，挺好。其实刷完
可以直接丢掉，下次换新的。刷墙，用的滚刷，也是便宜的，但后悔了，不是刷的效果
不行，而是太重，刷完了胳膊酸痛，下次买个轻的，总共不到10刀的东西，省力多好。

据说各大厂牌的顶级产品差别不大，靠便宜大碗招徕生意的中低档水分就大了。用过猴
弟坡的平价专销货，跟射吻威廉姆斯的同档一比就差太多了，滚子要多走好几遍效果还
差。要是不差这几十块就爽一把射吻呗

Paint is relatively cheap. you'll likely need 20-25 gallons for two coats.
That's $500~$800 with middle tier paint like Behr.
When hiring painters, the cost is mostly labor. Total depending on your
house structure and where you are, with ceiling, $5000+.
A total repainting is a lot of work. DIY only suits when you get much time
and short on $.
DO NOT CHEAPEN OUT ON ROLLERS AND BRUSHES. Good bushes and rollers will save
you a lot of time and hassle.

The best is Benjamin Moore but it's quite expensive. I used Sherwin Williams
for my house. SW is a bit thin. You need 2 coats to have good coverage.

SW Emerald is great, can almost do one coat if the previous paint is light-
colored. But it's $70+ a gallon. Such expensive paint is only necessary when
you paint cabinets or very high sheen doors.
Those $20-$40 per gallon paints, all with primer added, are pretty much the
same: you will need two costs. May as well get something cheaper.

买个最大最好的roller和延长杆，80%的墙面都靠roller来刷，比用刷子轻松多了，刷
子是最后刷边角用的。

家里也是2500，13年了。墙面有些被小孩划脏了，也想自己刷。可以一个屋子一个屋子
地刷吗否则太累了呀。另外家里墙壁颜色属于白但不是纯白的那种，请问怎么选这种颜

去home depot配就好。不放心切个墙皮下来。但是一模一样的颜色几乎是不可能的，所
以至少要一面一面的墙整个刷，一屋子就更没问题了。通常刷墙会剩半桶油漆就用来将
来补漆用，但即使如此也不能保证颜色一样。因为漆会被阳光，空气等等改变颜色。

Try soapy water with a towel to clean it.
Or try TSP, Simple Green.
