I am thinking about applying for a UA card now (with 50K bonus points), but
I am worried that the points may expire. (I had some very bad experience
with AA points from Citi cards, those points expired before I ever got a
chance to use them).

我现在是AOS中，目前用EAD卡工作。原来的H1-B过期了，于是公司又帮助申请了H1-B，
但是需要我出境Stamp。LD从一个移民律师那里听说，我现在的情况如果用H1-B入境的
话，等于自动放弃485申请。我觉得似乎不是这样的，想请教大家一下。多谢！

ua points will expire after 18 months of inactivity.
what I will do , is to mark it on my online calender on the day before the
expiration date, than at that day, you just use some point(such as
subscription to magazine), then you will have another 18 months.
