老婆上周把了智齿，结果3天后疼痛加剧，去牙医那里说是出现dry socket了，然后弄
了一个纱布垫在牙槽里，结果老婆对纱布上的药品过敏，一直呕吐。挨了一天又去（昨
天上午），医生给换了种药，不恶心了，但是从晚上开始，牙根有开始疼痛（但是没有
干槽症发作时那么疼），并且被拔掉的那个牙洞里不断有脓液流出（牙洞里塞着纱布，
脓液从纱布边渗出）。今天打电话，护士说他们也不知道为什么会有脓液流出，但是说
了不常见。约了明天再去看！
请问有没有医生专家知道怎么回事？自己上网查了，担心是骨髓炎，但是现在老婆并没
有发热等症状，牙槽那里也不怎么肿胀，就只是有脓液。多谢了！

You are right that without fever, intense pain or swelling, it's more like a
regular infection than acute osteomyelitis. Make sure the dentist
considers that possibility, though.
For people with relatively healthy teeth & gum, infection following
extraction can still happen (since one cannot sterilize the mouth) but rare.
