经过3周的紧张工作，老鼠搬家圆满完成，AMEX的limit暴涨1万到16000。
操作方法是
BT
AMEX -----------> Citi
< /
\ /
\ payment / deposit
\ /
\ <
Local bank
Citi没有Financial charge。
AMEX可能有一点，过几天就知道了。
其间还倒腾5000到INGDirect上睡了半个月。

I paid no interest to Citi.
I need to check how much Amex would charge me a few days later.
For Citi, I usually mail BT check to Citi on Tuesday,
a negative balance shows up (usually on Thursday),
I deposite Citi's BT check on Friday.
my local bank is very kind. The balance is available immediately, if <5000.
For AMEX, the BT to Citi shows up on next Tue or Wed.
So I mail payment check on next Monday. (I should have mailed on Sat)

because AMEX allows me to pay u

First, it's a good experience to know how the banks handle
balance transfer and related issues.
Second, no credit check for this increase.
Third, with CC cards with a higher limit,
it's possible to get a higher limit when applying for a new CC.
