卡里现在有１０００多块钱，但是尽量想用CC，而不是用这个啥都没的prepaid card。
请问一下，大家是怎么把钱从prepaid卡上拿出来的？
另外根据TC，每个自然月头一次取钱，amex是不收费的，但是取钱的ATM机器上可能会
收。有谁知道哪个银行的atm机器取钱不收费?

AE也可以说他们家的这个prepaid card是surcharge-free。。。。只要我不收你钱，我
就是surcharge-free,至于别人收不收，不关我的事。
要怪就怪AE家没有弄个自己的ATM网络，当然一个信用卡公司肯定不会干这样的事情的。

我们家周围的加油站旁边也有个Huntington的ATM是surcharge free的，ATM机上面就写
着，也用Fidelity卡取过，的确没有。所有可以找一找附近的atm，看看有没有
surcharge free的，特别是加油站那边。

取钱不收费的atm很难找，至少我在周围没找到，可能有的local bank或credit union
不收费。以前有人说在麦当劳找到的atm只收0.99，costco的atm收1.25

你可能根本都没明白什么是surcharge。。。
atm的surcharge fee专指atm本身charge的费用

收费还是fidelity卡免了ATM费吧

你说的有可能，不过更有可能atm自己就没费用，当然fidelity也不用免他这个atm fee了
他说“surcharge free”，我网上查的时候确实都提到一般atm自己没费用的atm都会在
机器旁边写明这个surcharge free之类的
本来yudeli说的AP我正好有他用，如果能找到atm本身不收钱的，那我这个方法就能直
接免费取现了。以后amex prepaid再有什么dd拿钱的promo可以更放心跳不用担心钱出
不来
我等段时间自己取好钱再来update

用Amazon Payment的成本比用ATM取出来的成本高。按2%算一下就知道。
用ATM必须找credit union或bank的，因为costco和便利店这种一般都有200上限，取一
次收一次钱,（这种ATM搞Amex Pass正好，因为Amex Pass每个月ATM也是$200上限）。
搞Amex Prepaid 1000块在这种ATM要取5次。
但Amex prepaid一个月只能取400，所以至少也要取3次才能取出，我这边找到credit
union最低$1.5一次，取三次成本$4.5。用Amazon Payment取出来成本$20。

那位应该是在说如果不用AP取prepaid，而是取一张信用卡，比如FIA，可以有$20，每
个月只有$1000的额度，用了prepaid就不能用FIA了。

You got 2% cashback by using Credit Card in AP, but you got nothing by using
Amex Prepaid, so to withdraw $1000 using AP, you lose $20, in other words,
cost is $20.

actually around $30.
good thinking, but personally I'm not willing to take advantage of AP like

如果atm收费，会在你取钱的时候就说。fid卡是refund这个atm fee，不是直接免了。
我以前也用fid取过学校的Huntington ATM，有3刀atm fee，最后fid又退还给我的。

bingo！
atm取钱是先手手续费，fid最后还会退给你。不是直接免了的。

Isn't teaching somebody to use AP to cash out Amex Prepaid card basically
taking advantage of AP in the same way?

guys, easy
i guess we could reach one point of consensus:
we could take advantage of AP, but no abuse it
As of myself, I usually use like around 400 dollars a month in AP just to
cash out my VISA/MC/AMEX GC bought in the grocery store.
Actually, I always suggest not use the full 1000 limit each month of AP, coz
Amazon is not an easy guy to deal with
PS: I called a local credit union, and the CSR confirmed their ATM would not
charge fees. I would try to withdraw some money from my AMEX prepaid and
see if it's the case and I would update here.

I understand everyone has different bottom lines. that's why I said it was
just my personal preference.
I've been using AP since Oct. 2007 when textpayme officially started using
AP platform. Most of time I use it for the sake of convenience, not trying
to milk it to the last drop. I'm too lazy to cash out AmEx prepaid card at a
local CU every month for 3 months.
there are lots of things I'm not willing to do - KTC, Mint coins, etc. Doesn
't necessarily mean that I think they are morally wrong or unethical, just
that I think the efforts/risks outweigh the gains. Again, my personal belief.
Do what you feel is acceptable.

Make sure they mean no fee for their own check card or no fee for all cards.
Never seen a credit union is free for all cards.

上次出门旅游没有带够钱，去酒店门口的ATM取钱，银行收了2$,ATM收了2.95$，取了2
次，$9.9才给了我400$，唉。

The CSR did tell me it's no fee for other cards as well, coz I asked very
specifically that I will be using a non-credit union debit card.
Of course, as we all know, what CSRs told us may not be always true, but I
figured out even if they charged me 2-3 dollars, it's still acceptable.

I went to my credit union, try to explain this things, but they never
understand unitl I withdraw the money, show the receipt with $2 fee, they
still don't understand. those people only makes around $15/hour,what do we
expect them? most people over here are much smart then them. I paid $2 for
$400 cash and deposit to back account right way, it is ok since $400 cash
back is $4, earn $2 at least and don't have to remember how much is left on
my prepaid card.

code and it only returned some locations for 'Federal Credit Union' without

现在我又想一个问题，可不可以拿我的amex prepaid卡到比如safeway一类的grocery
store去消费，然后选择cash back，出现金？我知道discover是可以那样做的，但是不
知道amex prepaid card能否那么做。而且这个算是cash advance吗？还是说对于
prepaid卡来说就算普通withdrawal？

不行，cash back只针对于debit card，amex prepaid相当于cc，不能cash back

try it, select debit, use pin, see what happens
even if it works, there is certainly a daily limit, that is most likely very
low.

It won't work even you try to use it as a debit card. (ie, use pin).
It has to be used as a credit card at POS.

我们这里的HEB，Fiesta等grocery store,包括walmart系统都过不了，amex prepaid不
是debit card,只有debit card才能cash out。

你可能根本都没明白什么是surcharge。。。

你说的有可能，不过更有可能atm自己就没费用，当然fidelity也不用免他这个atm fee了
他说“surcharge free”，我网上查的时候确实都提到一般atm自己没费用的atm都会在
机器旁边写明这个surcharge free之类的
本来yudeli说的AP我正好有他用，如果能找到atm本身不收钱的，那我这个方法就能直
接免费取现了。以后amex prepaid再有什么dd拿钱的promo可以更放心跳不用担心钱出
不来
我等段时间自己取好钱再来update

用Amazon Payment的成本比用ATM取出来的成本高。按2%算一下就知道。
用ATM必须找credit union或bank的，因为costco和便利店这种一般都有200上限，取一
次收一次钱,（这种ATM搞Amex Pass正好，因为Amex Pass每个月ATM也是$200上限）。
搞Amex Prepaid 1000块在这种ATM要取5次。
但Amex prepaid一个月只能取400，所以至少也要取3次才能取出，我这边找到credit
union最低$1.5一次，取三次成本$4.5。用Amazon Payment取出来成本$20。

那位应该是在说如果不用AP取prepaid，而是取一张信用卡，比如FIA，可以有$20，每

You got 2% cashback by using Credit Card in AP, but you got nothing by using
Amex Prepaid, so to withdraw $1000 using AP, you lose $20, in other words,
cost is $20.

如果atm收费，会在你取钱的时候就说。fid卡是refund这个atm fee，不是直接免了。
我以前也用fid取过学校的Huntington ATM，有3刀atm fee，最后fid又退还给我的。

atm取钱是先手手续费，fid最后还会退给你。不是直接免了的。

i guess we could reach one point of consensus:
we could take advantage of AP, but no abuse it
As of myself, I usually use like around 400 dollars a month in AP just to
cash out my VISA/MC/AMEX GC bought in the grocery store.
Actually, I always suggest not use the full 1000 limit each month of AP, coz
Amazon is not an easy guy to deal with
PS: I called a local credit union, and the CSR confirmed their ATM would not
charge fees. I would try to withdraw some money from my AMEX prepaid and
see if it's the case and I would update here.

I understand everyone has different bottom lines. that's why I said it was
just my personal preference.
I've been using AP since Oct. 2007 when textpayme officially started using
AP platform. Most of time I use it for the sake of convenience, not trying
to milk it to the last drop. I'm too lazy to cash out AmEx prepaid card at a
local CU every month for 3 months.
there are lots of things I'm not willing to do - KTC, Mint coins, etc. Doesn
't necessarily mean that I think they are morally wrong or unethical, just
that I think the efforts/risks outweigh the gains. Again, my personal belief.
Do what you feel is acceptable.

Make sure they mean no fee for their own check card or no fee for all cards.

上次出门旅游没有带够钱，去酒店门口的ATM取钱，银行收了2$,ATM收了2.95$，取了2

The CSR did tell me it's no fee for other cards as well, coz I asked very
specifically that I will be using a non-credit union debit card.
Of course, as we all know, what CSRs told us may not be always true, but I
figured out even if they charged me 2-3 dollars, it's still acceptable.

I went to my credit union, try to explain this things, but they never
understand unitl I withdraw the money, show the receipt with $2 fee, they
still don't understand. those people only makes around $15/hour,what do we
expect them? most people over here are much smart then them. I paid $2 for
$400 cash and deposit to back account right way, it is ok since $400 cash
back is $4, earn $2 at least and don't have to remember how much is left on
my prepaid card.

It won't work even you try to use it as a debit card. (ie, use pin).
It has to be used as a credit card at POS.

我们这里的HEB，Fiesta等grocery store,包括walmart系统都过不了，amex prepaid不
是debit card,只有debit card才能cash out。
