上周同事给弄了个baby shower,大多数人都送了些礼物，有两三个没送，但是来参加了
。完了之后，有人好心提醒说，按照这边的习惯，准爸妈应该要给每个人写thank you
notes，诸如分别谢谢每个人的礼物，多一些detail. 我就给每个送礼的写了。刚才突
然想起，是不是也应该感谢一下没送礼的？毕竟人家到场了，有的还帮忙收拾了下。大
家怎么做的？

The traditional paper thank-you cards are better accepted than emails. Just
to think that those people took their time to shop and get the gifts for
you, it is not too much to write them a hand-written note back to them.

why 羞辱? those who came also give you their bless and share the joy with

我是在target买的thank you notes，是小卡片。通常就放在Cards那一栏的附近，但是
和大卡片不大一样，notes是一叠一叠卖的，每叠10+张，几块钱。另外，我同事说walgreen也有卖的。

In walmart or taget, there different kinds of thank you notes boxes.
Normally I choose the one with "Thank you" at the top, when open the card,
it is empty (blank) for you to write. I like 米黄色的。
You can google the samples of writings. noramlly, you should mention the
gift you got, and how you plan to use it.

walgreen也有卖的。

嗯，我知道你说的那一种，每一叠是用小盒子装的，更精致一些。我是小气妈妈，挑了
更便宜的，每一叠就是用塑料膜包起来的。:P 每一张封面上也印有thank you. 我因为
怀的女宝，就挑了粉红色的。我也是google了一些sample,不过写近20张，也花了差不
多2个小时。我已经很久没有在书桌前坐这么久了...
之前同事说要帮我办，我还有点不安，因为觉得是欠了人情，而且不习惯被人环绕。但
是办下来以后，真是很开心,大家玩得吃得也很开心。

哎，我那前半句是正经话，后半句是玩笑话。写个“thank you for coming”，
谁会觉得被羞辱呢？是感谢别人来呀
