我要为在美国出生得孩子办理回国的文件，因为他现在的旅行证马上就要过期。孩子出
生时我们夫妻都没有绿卡，但现在我们正在绿卡申请过程中，有可能在２－３个月内会
拿到。孩子也很可能会在这段时间内回国。我们应该为他申请签证还是换新的旅行证？

上周周末天气炎热，做了凉粉和凉面.版上有贴过凉粉的做法，很不错。
我再加一些个人制作过程和经验吧...
菜名：凉拌凉粉
材料：绿豆粉 水(绿豆粉跟水的比例是1：6) 黄瓜，蒜，盐，醋，生抽，香油，辣油
（依个人口味）
做法/步骤：
1. 先取一份水将绿豆粉化开，搅匀
2. 另外5份水，放锅内烧开...
3.待水烧开时将化匀的绿豆淀粉倒入，边倒边搅（要不停的搅动）
4.直到绿豆粉糊变透明时，离火，倒入容器，放入冰箱冷却.
5.待其冷却成型后倒扣出来，切成条，装盘.
6.黄瓜洗净切丝，蒜捣成泥,铺在凉粉上
7.加入醋、生抽、香油、盐、和辣椒油，拌均匀
美味的凉拌凉粉就做好了～^^
当然调料还依照个人喜好，加糖，芝麻酱，橄榄油等等
特点：开胃爽口
个人评价：好吃～

以stock为主的MF了. 研究了下, 好像VMRGX还行撒, 大家觉得呢? 或者给推荐几个
vanguard的MF考虑下呀?

准备向公司申请了，但还可以有点要求，请问哪个bb比较好？plan就是公司的voice+
email等。
主要是一定要有qwerty，（但最好是slideout那种，往往屏幕比一体机要大），然后最
好带gps和wifi，但不是一定的。bb能用微软的office mobile么？

bb 9700不错，slideout的qwerty就moto droid,现在买可以make 50。bb理论上可以阅
读和编辑ms office文档。

the best time to switch to VMRGX form VWINX was early 2009. you have already
missed 250% gain. This is typical buy high sell low. if you strongly
believe bond is not appropriate for young investors as Redsim does, who i
don't agree with, then by all means make the switch as you wish. However i
don't think that is the case for you. You will very likely sell VMRGX in the
future and buy back a bond fund or hybrid fund just for the sake of chasing
performance. I highly recommend reading a few books before you make any
decision.

Thanks for the opinion. I didn't even know about IRA in 2009. I was too
young too simple at that time. Actually the performance of VMRGX was really
good last year. I missed it too. It was a good timing last year to invest on
stock funds, while I invested on a bond fund. This year the stock market
looks a bit volatile. So it might be a good idea to put some portions on
bond funds to keep the portfolio diversified. But my problem is I don't have
a lot of money on my IRA account to split on couple of funds. I guess a
hybrid fund as you mentioned might be the best choice for me. Can you
recommend any of them? Thanks!

it for as little as $1000. But keep in mind, it's a hybrid fund, ie a
mixture of stocks and bonds, just as the VWINX you currently own (the star
fund has a higher percentage in stocks than VWINX). as such, it won't have a
stellar performance in a bull market as VMRGX, which is a pure growth stock
fund. If you can tolerate the volatility and the risk with a stock fund,
VMRGX is a fine fund, but it may perform badly in a bear market. The whole
point of my post is to tell you not to time the market. Chasing performance
is the best way to ruin performance.
