not immediately, but after a while (maybe a traffic cap) you'll be
redirected to a hotspot sales page. this just happened to me.
fortunately, they can't block anything that's encrypted. any https will go
through and any VPN traffic will go through.

i'm doing everything in my power to use up the 5Gb data this month, just to
spite the carrier policy.

不是早就不能hotspot了吗
