Dear doll6688,
If only for quality reason, I would've contacted you directly asking for a
solution. Sadly this is not the case. Don't you know that selling
counterfeit goods is a crime? I have checked the phone thoroughly after
opening the box and I was so outraged not only because you sent me a fake
Mi4 smartphone but also because this is a holiday gift for my wife. Now my
time has been totally wasted. As an eBay buyer and seller myself, I know
that eBay has zero tolerance for this type of fraudulent activities. Now let
me tell you how I found out your Mi4 is a low-class counterfeit. I guess it
's too bad for you that I am one of those tech geeks and smartphone
enthusiasts. I have photos to proof all the facts I am listing below.
1.Your packaging doesn't have the scratch-off anti fake label which should
contain 20 digits anti fake code according to Xiaomi official site.
2.The sim tray doesn't fit and was not crafted well. The speaker grills and
the USB charger are very poorly made.
OK it doesn't sound that terrible so far. Maybe you just forgot the label or
this particular phone does have an inferior quality. But the truth starts
now:
3.When I use the Mi phone manager software in my PC which should've come
with your "100% original Mi4" but ironically I had to download from Xiaomi
official site, it doesn't even recognize your phone.
4.When I enter the recovery mode, there is no Mi recovery interface. It's
more like a Mediatek recovery with only a resting android robot on screen.
5.When I turn on pointer location under developer options, it shows that
screen resolution is 1280x720, not 1920x1080 as stated in both Mi4 official
specs and your eBay description.
6.Finally when I use Mobile Uncle Tools to diagnose its hardware, it
confirms that your phone is mediatek(MTK) build and uses hardware version
MT6582, not Qualcomm as stated in Mi4 official specs and your eBay
description.
Do you still want me to go on? OK, Screen dpi is 320 not 480..... My
feedback should be the last thing you need to worry about right now. Just
issue me the refund before I escalate this to an eBay fraud case or maybe a
FBI investigation who knows.
