这周学校放假，上K的儿子和爷爷在家。今天回来后递给我钉在一起的一叠纸，说是他
自己写的书，有封面封底，每页有插图，插图上面或是下面是文字。据爷爷说自己趴在
那儿写了好一会儿。看完后彻底震惊了。不在乎他会写多少单词，但觉得这么小就能开
始运用文章的构架和语言本身的美丽来表达思想，还是很不容易的。
手稿里有一些拼错的词，但除此外没任何改动的原文如下：
The Night Before Christmas

The night before Christmas the kids went bed and wished that Santa would
come, while visions of present danced in the heads.
At midnight Santa came, flying down the chimney so fast that we cannot see.
As we watched him fly down, so fast, when he was not looking we crept out
our beds and we went into the kitchen. We baked some cookies. We put them in
a plate then we put them on the table for Santa to eat. Then we crept back
into our beds. Then we went back to sleep.
On Christmas day we woke early in the morning. We went downstairs to open
our presents. We looked on the table and to our surprise, the cookies were
still there, but they were shaped like elfs. We didn’t bake elf cookies. We
baked chocolate cookies.
Our mom still didn’t wake up so we decided to open our presents. I got a
pair of roller skates. What do you want to get???
