娃5岁了，美国护照快过期了，因为近期可能回国，想给他换新护照。网上搜了，说16
岁以下renew是跟办新护照一样的。我知道不急可以去邮局办，但因为回国时间临时可
能有变，正好有打算最近去趟DC，想问问能不能去DC直接办理？如果可以，具体是去哪
里办？需要多久拿到？加急呢？费用分别是多少？有经验的父母能指点一下吗？有帮助
的回答会发包子，多谢！

You could apply for passport renewal at your local city branch and get it
within 3 to 5 days if you are lucky. You first call the person in your
local post office to find out the local city branch which could directly
print out your passport. Then you make an appointment with your local city
branch. It all depends on how many people directly apply at the local city
branch.

谢谢，请问你这个local city branch是什么branch？passport agency吗？我们州好像
没有passport agency

楼上已经写了怎么查passport agency，如果你们州没有的话，就找最近的，或者你喜
欢去的，如DC，加急的话，他们会根据你的紧急程度决定啥时候给你。
