APPLICATIONS DIRECTOR：
DESCRIPTION- Our client has developed a rapid, molecular assay and
instrument system for the Food Safety industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES- The professional selected to fill this critical position
will be responsible for the company’s Applications Laboratory and team of
Applications specialists. The primary responsibilities will be to drive
successful product evaluations by designing and conducting feasibility
studies and to support scientific collaborations with industry and
regulatory bodies. This person will work in the company’s New Jersey
facility.
REQUIREMENTS- The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Microbiology or
Molecular Biology. He/she must have extensive experience in the development
and performance of assays for the detection of food pathogens. The ability
to communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings is important as
is the need to write and present reports to customers and company
management.
COMPENSATION- The annual compensation for this position will be in the $150
,000 range. A performance bonus is also available. Relocation assistance
is provided if necessary. Comprehensive company benefits package.
