美国联邦，州和地方政府为老年人提供数以百计的社会福利项目，如常听到的医疗白卡
，红蓝卡，交通卡，食品卡，老人公寓，能源补助，还有更多的特殊人群的相应福利。
各个村镇的老人中心也为当地的居民安排和提供各种的老人服务，包括老人健身，营养
餐，讲座，郊游，交通服务，家政服务，等等。希林协会特别为您提供电话信息咨询服
务，介绍福利申请的手续和要求。希林协会也提供老人餐，托老服务，健康讲座和妇女
乳癌普查，等等。
为了让家长，特别是老人了解有关的社会福利和可以享用的社会福利，以及得到咨询服
务，希林协会将安排于2014年10月5日星期日1-3点在我校举办首次老人服务信息介绍会
，为大家提供老人社会福利项目的说明和介绍。如：申请老人免费乘车证，参加老人餐
活动，申请得到健康保险，申请托老，家政服务，以及申请福利的相关要求。现场为大
家答疑和登记需要申请的项目。介绍相关的政府部门以便及时办理申请手续。
这些服务项目都是为了让老人们有更加健康和快乐的老年生活，满足人们的身体健康，
心理，精神，社会交流的需求。请有兴趣的家长以及老人家参加本次介绍会，有任何问

Senior Social Services
The purpose of this program is to assist senior citizens in accessing public
social benefit programs and promoting a healthy and happy wellbeing for sen
ior lives. Services include Adult Daycare Services, Senior Congregate Nutri
tion Meal program, and et
Telephone Information and Referral: Provide Senior benefits and health infor
mation, assist senior with procedures for application, and give referrals fo
r various service. Free ride, license plate discount, LIHEAP, Medicaid, link
card and etc.
Health Services
The purpose of these services is to provide public health education and heal
th screening for seniors and women. The target population for screening serv
ices is low-income households and those without insurance. Current education
and screening programs include women's health and Hepatitis B, Osteoporosis
, Senior Health Fairs, and etc. Further diagnosis is provided when initial s
creenings result in abnormal findings.
The Xilin Association is a nonprofit organization with a 501(c) 3 status.
