I sent B2 extension for my mother one month ago, and I do not know the
decision from USCIS yet. But, my mother's I-94 is going to be expired in a
couple days,and airplane ticket is due on 8-23-10.The ticket is valid in 6
months and could not be changed to further late.
Can my mother stay longer under this situation?

我是f-1 opt 工作中，但是h1b 还没有申请
不知道能够是用1040退税吗？
今天去去irs local office 申请ITIN那里人问了我一对问题然后说我不能用１０４０
退税
如果不是按照residende退税那么还能和老婆一起退税吗？
回来查了以下，　发现好像还要满足下面的条件
does not intend to reside permanently in the United States;
has substantially complied with the immigration laws and requirements
relating to his student nonimmigrant status;
has not taken any steps to change his nonimmigrant status in the United
States toward becoming a permanent resident of the United States; and
has a closer connection to a foreign country than to the United States as
evidenced by the factors listed in Treasury Regulation 301.7701(b)-2(d)(1).
有些东西很难证明啊！

写长贴真费劲，没烧器材，还是全幅+超广+长焦+35。
拍片技术有些进步，从乱拍一气到有点能实现自己的想法了。
告别了费城小村，到芝加哥闯荡江湖，有了点小知名度。
明年希望继续每次拍片都有进步，尤其是用光的方面。
1月，Cruise，回不去的从前
4-5月，毕业季，大量的人像写真
6-7月，婚礼摄影
还有Chinajoy
9月，乒乓球国家队访美
10月，北密红叶
11月，万圣节party
一些活动和随拍
旗袍外拍
布光人像试验

Her I-94 expired on 8-23-10, and her visa is valid till this December.
If mom stays to wait for USCIS's decision and the extension request rejected
, her return tickets would be wasted.

如果你老婆是resident alien,你们就可以填写married file jointly.你可以作为
resident alien file only for tax purpose.

IRS office的工作人员也未必搞得清外国人的情况。
你F1超过了5年，要按照substantial presence test来判断是不是R。只有你证明你不
想永久居住在美国，才能继续当作NR报税。而作为学生，通常R比NR能享受更多税务上
的好处，所以很少有人5年以上继续作NR的。
如果你>5年且满足SPT，按R跟LP合报吧。

你这还叫小有知名度。。。大芝加哥华人圈头号摄影师啊。。。
照片很不错，很养眼，不过现在这里的主流是文艺范。。。

谢谢，关键他要我证明我想居住在美国，我工作一年，不过ｈ１ｂ和绿卡都没有申请。
公司明年申请ｈ１ｂ。

我也发现了，pixoto上也都是文艺青年，不喜欢糖水人像小清新的。
哪天国内也搞个山寨版估计口味就不一样了。

说反了，只有你想继续当NR才要证明，否则你自动成为R
