如果是西北的话，如果冬天冷，很可能结不了果子。多数情况只能作为观赏树。我去年
买了两棵小苗，一年下来一点没长大。

I am in 6A, and grow it indoor in container. Bought one last year and it has
4 fruits on the tree now. Use growing light about 12 hours a day. I
actually found loquat tree is very easy to grow.

If the climate is right, Loquat trees grow like weeds with sufficient water.
In China, it grows as north as south of Yangtze river, where occasional snow
and frost is expected. But, I guess you have to get the right variety to
bear fruit in such climate. I recall that some of the varieties in USA
actually came from Japan. So, they may be a little different from what I
saw in China.
I did notice that Loquat trees bear fruits about 1 or 2 months later in
Yangtze river area than in southern California.

是几区？最低是几度？如果太冷的话，就不要种了。打电话问问当地nursery，如果他
们不卖枇杷，一般就是气候不对
