thanks for the information. BTW, i have a 17-40 F/4.0 and wonder if it is
necessary to upgrade to a larger aperture one, like 17-35 F/2.8, maybe 2nd
generation? also is Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS Lens & Hood - $925 good price?

17-55: good for now
No need to upgrade a 17-40 unless a 16-35 II, and even a 16-35 II is still
in question if you are not doing PJ or wedding.

No need to upgrade a 17-40 unless a 16-35 II, and even a 16-35 II is still
in question if you are not doing PJ or wedding.
